Tino is the President of ARMS Insurance Group LLC. His roles and responsibilities include overseeing general business operations, maintaining relationships with our carrier partners, recruiting new broker partners, and ensuring that ARMS continues to offer our broker partners the resources needed to remain competitive in the insurance industry.
Tino joined ARMS in 2007 and gained his industry experience by serving various roles at the agency before becoming President in 2014. Tino also possesses experience in the field, having sold and implemented individual medical, group medical, and group ancillary products for ARMS' broker partners.
Tino enjoys spending his free time with his wife, Candace, and daughter, Cameron or doing anything active. Running, training, golfing...you name it. Tino is also an avid racquetball player and will accept any challenge for a match!
Tino holds a B.S. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from The Pennsylvania State University. Tino also holds active Life, Accident and Health Insurance licenses.
Dave has been with ARMS since 2001, enjoying 17 years of helping this company grow to what it is today. His roles and responsibilities include recruiting, training, and educating brokers, as well as overseeing ARMS’ Employer Medical and Worker’s Comp Divisions.
Dave possesses 40 years of industry experience, spending 12 years with Aetna in Life and Casualty, six years with HealthAmerica creating and growing the broker program, two years with AIG in Specialty Markets, two years with UPMC Health Plan, and one year in personal production. His well-rounded background makes him very knowledgeable in all areas of health insurance. Dave is a graduate of Westminster College, having earned a Bachelor of Science in Marketing. He is currently a member of the USGA and actively involved with all major golf tournaments in Western, PA. He also holds a membership at Firestone Country Club in Akron, OH. In his free time, Dave enjoys golfing, traveling, lying on the beach, and spending time with his wife Claudia, two sons Justin and Matthew and his grandson, Wesley.
Carol joined the ARMS team in 2000. She is the company controller and general office manager, holding degrees in accounting and computer information technology. Her background includes 25 years of accounting and office management experience in both the public and private sectors. Carol is responsible for the agency's accounting functions, commission processing and employee relations. As part of the executive team, she is integral in developing the policies and procedures of the agency.
In her free time, Carol enjoys spending time with her family and babysitting her 2 grandchildren. What you may not know, is that Carol is a sprint car fan, and enjoys heading to the local tracks to watch the cars slide around the dirt oval.
Jen joined the ARMS team in 2001 and she serves as our resident UPMC expert. Her responsibilities include assisting agents with new business enrollments, renewals, and all elevated group questions. Jen values the experience and close relationships that she has made with our carrier representatives and agents. When not working, she enjoys spending time with family and traveling.
Courtney joined the ARMS team in 2017. Prior to ARMS, she worked in the Durable Medical Equipment industry for 8 years as a manager to several different departments. She was actively involved with CEOs regarding new business development as well as being very involved in the recruitment and mentoring of new staff. Courtney has a strong background of health insurance requirements and is looking forward to obtaining her Life, Accident and Health Insurance Licenses.
Courtney enjoys spending time outside exploring her hometown Pittsburgh, PA with her husband and their baby girl, as well as their two French bull dogs Mickey and Princess Leia.
Donnie joined the ARMS team in 2018 and is the account manager for our broker co-op division.For brokers who want to have a lesser role in the day to day servicing of their clients (Broker Co-op approach), Donnie handles clients day to day service, eligibility/enrollment, renewal negotiation, plan design strategy and compliance review. Prior to coming to ARMS, Donnie owned a Property and Casualty agency, worked as a wholesaler for a life insurance brokerage, and has extensive claims management experience.Donnie is a graduate of Washington and Jefferson College. An outdoor and crossfit enthusiast, Donnie, his wife Kedra and daughter Emerson enjoy taking hikes on the weekend with their yellow lab, Paige.
Jeff joined the ARMS team in 2016 to grow our Employer Ancillary Division. He is responsible for running the department that supports your group dental, disability, life, vision and worksite sales needs.
Prior to joining ARMS, Jeff was a Group Representative for Guardian Life, where he had worked for 25 years building strong broker relationships in Western Pennsylvania and West Virginia.
Jeff holds a BS in Marketing from Florida State University, and has continued his education throughout his career through the American College, earning the CLU, ChFC, RHU and REBC designations.
Outside the office Jeff and his wife love to travel both domestically and internationally. Jeff is also a cyclist, competing in the many masters/amateur races around the region.
Arlene joined the ARMS team in 2016. Prior to joining the team, she worked at USAA in Tampa, FL for three years as an Insurance Specialist, serving and issuing new Personal Lines Property and Casualty Products.
She holds a BS in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing & Management from the University of Southern Florida. Being new to the Pittsburgh area, during her free time she enjoys discovering western PA with her husband, Ryan.
Michelle joined the ARMS team in 2005 and spent the majority of her time in ARMS' Individual Department assisting brokers with writing individual policies. Michelle's responsibilities include agent training, licensing, and answering any questions regarding individual products.
She has been happily married to her husband, John, for 30 years. Together they have two sons, Joe and Keith. When she's not in the office, Michelle enjoys walking, reading, bowling, shopping, and rooting her favorite sports teams-the Steelers and Pirates. She also loves spending time with her family and friends doing just about anything.
Sandy joined the ARMS team in 2007. Initially residing in ARMS' Individual Department, Sandy assisted brokers with writing individual policies. Being an active agent herself, her extensive work in the field adds a unique component to the level of service that she provides to ARMS' brokers. In September of 2017, Sandy was transitioned to our Senior Division.
She enjoys spending her free time with her family and dog.
Sandy holds active Life, Accident and Health Insurance licenses.
Bob joined the ARMS team in January 2015. His roles and responsibilities include supporting brokers with all Medicare related inquiries and serving as ARMS’ Senior Ambassador.
In the Ambassador role, Bob will provide field support for partnered-brokers looking to obtain optimal healthcare solutions for their clients, who may be transitioning into the Medicare Health System.
Bob has held top management positions in several companies and, recently, owned and operated a video interpreting service to assist client hospitals in meeting the Americans with Disabilities Acts requirements for communication assistance.
He earned his B.S degree from The Pennsylvania State University and his M.B.A from the University of Pittsburgh.
Bob holds active Life, Accident and Health Insurance licenses.
Amy joined the ARMS team in 2015. Her responsibilities include processing member changes, broker of record changes, and other commission adminstrative duties.
Amy receieved her Accounting degree from Penn Commercial Business/Technical School. She enjoys spending her free time with her four children, two grandchildren, and wonderful boyfriend, as well as caring for her garden and working on home improvement projects.
